Our guide will meet you at the airport and welcomes you to Costa Rica. He will give you a little briefing, while escorting you to your luxury hostel, and help you check-in. Staying at a hostel will give you a chance to meet other travellers as well as giving you the chance to practice your Spanish which you will learn here in Costa Rica.

The lessons will last for about 4 hours and you will have the afternoon free to explore San Jose and use your Spanish.

Today you will do a city tour after your classes. You will visit San José downtown with its main buildings and attractions, including the beautiful National Theatre, the Cathedral, the Gold Museum, the Central Market and others.

Early morning to visit the Poás Volcano and its huge active crater! You will enjoy the cloud forest of the national park and the small hikes to the craters. After the visit, you’ll have more fun at class!

Language and travelling goes hand in hand, so today you will visit one of Costa Rica most popular national parks: Manuel Antonio. You will enjoy the magic of a rain forest right at beach side, a beautiful white sand beach! A great variety of wildlife can be seen at this park.

In the morning you will visit the oxcart monument in Escazú and learn the importance of the oxcarts and how they became a national symbol for work; you will see an old sugar cane mill and learn how it is processed and what products we can get. You will also learn how to make awesome wood crafts in a responsible way. All that before you go back to school in the afternoon.

Another weekend getaway to spend some time at La Fortuna, home of the Arenal Volcano, where you can hike on the Arenal Old Lava Flows at Arenal Volcano National Park, or you would have an opportunity to kayak and swim on lake Arenal. You will have some free time to explore the town of La Fortuna or to try another activity like the canopy tour or enjoy the world famous Hot Springs of the Arenal Volcano.
