Day 1

HOME // BELIZE

Flight from Costa Rica to Belize or from wherever home is, for an early arrival to the Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport in Belmopán. You transfer to San Ignacio, to check-in at your hotel and start your trip to Belize with your fist adventure, cave tubing in an underground river! A fantastic activity, floating down a crystal clear river through the amazing rock formations of the caves.

Day 2

TIKAL

San Ignacio is the closest town from the Guatemalan border. So, today you will depart early to this Centralamerican neighbor to visit the Tikal Ruins, one of the biggest mayan urban centers of the pre-columbean era, and today one of Unesco´s World Heritage Sites. This city once had a population of 50 – 100 thousand inhabitants, and has approximately 3,000 structures, including temples, palaces, altars, homes, ball game courts, terraces, board walks and plazas, most of them connected by aqueducts and water tanks. There are nine groups and plazas, including 5 of the main temples that have been uncovered and restored in Tikal. Once this visit is over, you will return to Belize to spend another night in San Ignacio.

Day 3

SAN IGNACIO // SAN PEDRO DE AMBERGRIS

After breakfast, you will leave San Ignacio, drive through Belmopán and you will reach the coast in Belize City. There, you will board the Water Taxi that will take you to San Pedro de Ambergris, one of the main keys in Belize, where you will spend the next two nights. After the check-in, you will have a free afternoon to walk around the center of the village or just enjoy the white sand caribbean beach with its crystal clear water!

Day 4

CORAL REEF

You will devote the whole day to sail and explore the beautiful reef of San Pedro. You will have the chance to visit the best 4 snorkeling spots of the country, starting by the “Coral Garden“, a great opportunity to see tropical fish and beautiful colorful coral. The second stop is the Manatee Look out to swim with the Manatees, if lucky enough to spot them: they live here but they are not in captivity so there is a high chance of watching them. After a delicious lunch, you will head to Shark Ray Ally, a marine park where you are going to swim with the nurse sharks! Finally, and saving the best for the last, you will visit Holchan, considered by many the marine park number 2 in the world for snorkeling: here you are going to swim with over 256 different species of marine life, including sea turtles, over 50 pounds groupers and others. After this amazing day, sailing and snorkeling, you just need to chill and relax in our sunset cruise on our way back to San Pedro Town.
