Early morning to visit the Poás Volcano and its huge active crater! You will enjoy the cloud forest of the national park and the small hikes to the craters. If the volcano and the park are closed due to volcanic activity, it can be changed by Irazú Volcano

Another weekend getaway to spend some time at La Fortuna, home of the Arenal Volcano, where you can hike on the Arenal Old Lava Flows at Arenal Volcano National Park, or you would have an opportunity to kayak and swim on lake Arenal. You will have some free time to explore the town of La Fortuna or to try another activity like the canopy tour or enjoy the world famous Hot Springs of the Arenal Volcano
