Enroll in our scuba diving lessons to get your PADI Open Water certification. First you will receive the theoretical course, then you will practice in the safe environment of the pool and finally you will practice in the ocean. Once you receive your PADI license, you can keep scuba diving with Elemento Natural either in Costa Rica or in any of our destinations, like Belize or Bocas del Toro.
Once you register in our program you will get your PADI registration and therefore your PADI OPEN WATER manual so you can download and study the theory for your scuba diving experience. Complete all the online quizes and tests and get ready to jump in the water!
The first morning will be devoted to practice in the pool: You will cover the 5 modules in at least 2 confined waters dives, in the pool, to learn and practice the basic diving techniques. All equipment will be available. Pool practice can be held in the Centrall Valley or at the beach, depending on the group´s availability. If the student masters the techniques quickly, one day of confined waters practice could suffice.
After you successfully complete the practice in the pool, you will go to the ocean for real life environment, and of course for your first scuba diving experience. There will be 4 inmersions in the ocean, through two days of practice, to properly evaluate each one of the lessons of theory and pool practice. This weekend you will use your new skills but you will also explore the wonders of the sea. Equipment, diving boat, tanks, snaks and DAN insurance are included.
The pricing does not include the 2 nights lodging or the transportation to Hermosa or Coco Beach, where we will conduct the ocean inmersions.

A biologist with over 20 years of scuba diving experience, he has been a scuba diving guide for over 18 years and a dive master for over 12 years. He has experience as a guide in Cocos Island and Galápagos, and he is currenly working with Sea Master in the sub-aquatic films area.
