Early departure at 6am from a convenient spot in San José, transfer to La Pavona so you can take that boat that will take you to Tortuguero. Breakfast will be take on the way. After checking in and lunch, you can enjoy the trails in the hotel!

Early breakfast, so you can start your day. Today you will visit the village and get the chance to meet the locals, buy crafts and souvenirs. Tortuguero village is a small town in the middle of the tropical jungle, right on the Caribbean beach. You will also take a boat trip on the canals for some wildlife watching, and visiting the Tortuguero National Park: this park was established in 1975 and it protects 18.946.9 hectares of land and 52.265 of ocean. This is the most important site on the western Caribbean for the green sea turtle nesting.

Early breakfast, then check out of your hotel and start your return to a San José or your next destination. You will have lunch on the way, before reaching the capital city.
